Bintisphere is a women led organization founded in Kenya to empower girls and young women with disabilities to achieve full participation in development. “Binti” is an African Swahili word meaning daughter whereas “Sphere” is an English word meaning a section of society or an aspect of life distinguished and unified by a particular characteristic. Bintisphere, therefore is an organization that empowers girls/young women with disabilities to live a holistic life in all spheres. We inculcate the power of self and collective advocacy amongst young girls as a tool for meaningful inclusion in social and economic spheres.
